Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform thorough dental cleanings and assess patients for signs of oral disease
• Take and develop dental x-rays with precision and care
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
• Document patient care and treatment plans accurately in electronic health records
• Sterilize and prepare dental instruments and treatment areas to maintain a safe environment
• Partner with the dentist to deliver exceptional, patient-centered care

Qualifications

• Current Dental Hygienist license in the state of Virginia
• CPR/BLS certification required
• New graduates welcome to apply - no prior experience necessary
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate chairside manner
• Ability to work the scheduled 12:00 PM - 9:00 PM shift

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and patient care best practices
• Proficiency in taking and interpreting dental radiographs
• Familiarity with dental software and electronic health records
• Excellent interpersonal skills for patient education and team collaboration
• Attention to detail and commitment to infection control standards
