Location: Gettysburg, PA

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM NOC (Night shift; specific days not specified)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $22 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate hands-on care assisting residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting)
Monitor and record vital signs, reporting any changes to the nursing team
Support resident mobility and safety, using proper lifting and transfer techniques
Document care clearly and promptly to ensure continuity and quality
Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to meet resident needs
Build trusting relationships with residents and their families through respectful, person-centered care

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
Prior experience in long-term care or similar settings is a plus
Basic proficiency in charting and documentation
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completion of an accredited CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of basic patient care and infection control practices
Skill in safe resident handling and transfer techniques
Ability to observe, record, and communicate changes in resident condition
Compassionate bedside manner and strong interpersonal skills
Time management skills to prioritize resident needs during shift
