Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care, assisting with activities of daily living
• Monitor and document patient vital signs, status changes and care interventions
• Support safe transfers and mobility, using proper body mechanics and assistive devices
• Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team to follow care plans and report concerns
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control protocols
• Offer emotional support and respectful communication to patients and families

Qualifications

• Current state CNA certification (Certified Nursing Assistant) required
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) preferred or willing to obtain
• Demonstrated experience in long-term care or acute care settings is a plus
• Ability to pass background check, drug screen and required health screenings
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Completion of an accredited CNA training program and current certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in personal care, bathing, feeding and toileting assistance
• Knowledgeable about vital sign measurement and documentation
• Familiarity with infection control practices and patient safety procedures
• Able to recognize and report changes in patient condition
• Comfortable working independently overnight and as part of a team
