Location: Gettysburg, Pennsylvania

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Days not specified, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (Evening shift)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide safe, compassionate direct care to residents following care plans and facility protocols
Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility
Monitor and document resident condition and report changes to nursing staff promptly
Support a healing environment by maintaining cleanliness and infection control standards
Communicate respectfully with residents and families to promote dignity and comfort
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to deliver coordinated, person-centered care
Participate in safety checks, fall prevention, and resident transfer procedures

Qualifications

Current CNA certification in Pennsylvania (required)
BLS/CPR certification (preferred or obtain upon hire)
Comfortable assisting with ADLs and safe patient handling
Strong communication skills and a team-focused attitude
Previous experience in long-term care or acute care is a plus

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Understanding of basic nursing procedures and infection control
Ability to document care accurately and observe/report changes
Skill in safe resident transfers and positioning
Compassionate bedside manner and strong interpersonal skills
Time management and the ability to prioritize in a busy environment
