Location: Florence, AL
Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: Per diem (as-needed), 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM Day shift (days vary based on facility needs) at Glenwood Center
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $13 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents — assisting with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, mobility)
- Take and record vital signs and report changes to the nursing team
- Help maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for each resident
- Support the care team with feeding, turning, and repositioning as needed
- Communicate clearly and respectfully with residents, families, and staff to ensure coordinated care
- Document care accurately and promptly in the resident chart
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential (Class: CNA) — required
- Comfortable working 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM) on a per-diem basis
- Compassionate, patient-focused attitude with strong teamwork skills
- Ability to follow facility policies and infection control procedures
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Current CNA certification required
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in assisting with ADLs and bedside care
- Basic competency with vital signs and recognizing changes in condition
- Clear verbal and written communication for documentation and handoffs
- Teamwork and time management in a fast-paced care setting
- Awareness of infection control and patient safety practices
