Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care and assistance with daily living activities to residents
• Monitor vital signs and report changes in condition to nursing staff
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients
• Document care provided accurately and timely
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure quality care
• Support residents' emotional and physical well-being

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Connecticut
• Current BLS certification (CPR) preferred
• Prior experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facility a plus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic nursing assistant principles and procedures
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach
• Time management and organizational skills
• Adaptability to changing resident needs
• Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) is a plus
