Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality ultrasound imaging for diagnostic purposes
• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment to ensure optimal performance
• Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to provide accurate imaging results
• Prepare and position patients for ultrasound procedures, ensuring comfort and safety
• Maintain patient records and document procedures in accordance with standards
• Adhere to infection control and safety protocols

Qualifications

• Active RDMS certification preferred
• Vascular sonography experience helpful
• Breast ultrasound experience helpful, not required
• Current BLS certification
• Willingness to obtain Rhode Island license if not already held
• Excellent patient care and communication skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in ultrasound imaging techniques
• Knowledge of anatomy and physiology
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail
• Familiarity with electronic medical records
• Adaptability to new technologies
