Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist orthodontist during patient procedures
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
• Take dental X-rays as needed
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and treatment plans
• Maintain a clean and organized clinical workspace
• Support front desk with administrative tasks when needed

Qualifications

• Active Dental Assistant certification in Maryland
• Radiation Safety and X-ray certification
• Prior orthodontic assisting experience preferred
• Excellent communication and patient care skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency with dental software and equipment
• Knowledge of orthodontic procedures and terminology
• Strong attention to detail and infection control practices
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
