Shift Type: Variable start times 6:00 AM - 9:00 AM, 10-hour day shifts, Monday-Friday with call rotation (1 shift/week, every 4th weekend)

Candidate Pay Rate: $46 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain sterile operating room environments for a variety of surgical cases
• Assist surgeons and nurses during procedures by passing instruments and supplies
• Ensure all surgical equipment is sterilized, functioning, and ready for use
• Anticipate the needs of the surgical team to keep procedures running smoothly
• Support patient safety and comfort before, during, and after surgery
• Collaborate with a dedicated team in a fast-paced OR setting with 15-25 cases per day

Qualifications

• BLS Certification required
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room experience
• Experience with Cerner Surginet preferred
• Ability to scrub cases is a plus
• COVID-19 vaccination required
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise OR protocols

Knowledge & Skills

• Deep knowledge of sterile techniques and OR procedures
• Comfortable with Cerner Surginet EMR
• Experience with robotic surgery and cardiovascular cases is a plus
• Skilled in orthopedic, spine, neuro, and general surgical cases
• Ability to thrive in a high-volume environment with 400 cases per month
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
