Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to residents and patients
• Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding
• Monitor and document vital signs and report any changes to the nursing team
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients
• Communicate effectively with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
• Support patients with mobility, repositioning, and transfers, ensuring safety at all times

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in California
• BLS/CPR certification is required (or must be willing to obtain)
• Previous experience in a hospital or long-term care setting is a plus, but new graduates are welcome
• Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine desire to help others
• Ability to work flexible per diem shifts, including nights and weekends

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic patient care techniques and safety protocols
• Skilled in using vital signs monitoring equipment and documenting patient information
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Understanding of HIPAA regulations and the importance of patient confidentiality
• Ability to stay calm and effective in fast-paced situations
