Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to medical-surgical/telemetry patients
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
• Monitor vital signs, telemetry, and patient status, responding quickly to changes
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and the healthcare team to optimize outcomes
• Document patient care thoroughly and maintain accurate medical records
• Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, and discharge instructions

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)
• Previous med-surg or telemetry nursing experience preferred
• Ability to provide high-quality care during 12-hour night shifts
• Strong critical thinking and quick decision-making skills
• A compassionate, team-oriented approach to patient care

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid understanding of medical-surgical and telemetry nursing practices
• Skilled in using EHR systems and documenting care accurately
• Comfortable responding to changing patient conditions and emergencies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced hospital environment
