Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate and efficient emergency care to patients of all ages
• Assess patient conditions and prioritize care based on severity
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team to develop care plans
• Monitor vital signs and respond to changes in patient status
• Document patient information accurately and timely
• Educate patients and families on care and discharge instructions

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
• BLS certification required; ACLS and PALS preferred
• Previous ER or acute care experience preferred
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment
• Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays as needed

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of emergency nursing procedures and protocols
• Skilled in patient assessment and triage
• Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
