Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality care to critically ill newborns and their families
• Monitor and assess neonatal patients using advanced technology and evidence-based practices
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and specialized treatments with precision and safety
• Support parents and families through education and emotional encouragement during their NICU journey

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted RN license in Michigan
• Minimum 1 year of recent NICU experience
• Active BLS (American Heart Association) and NRP certifications
• Proficiency with Epic, OBix, Voalte, and Hugs systems
• Ability to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays as required

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills for neonatal care
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Comfortable with electronic medical records and NICU-specific technology
• Ability to stay calm and focused in high-pressure situations
• Commitment to patient safety and family-centered care
