Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and interpret telemetry data to detect changes in patient condition
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments with precision and care
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Educate patients and families on health management and discharge planning
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with hospital policies

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Iowa or compact state
• Minimum 1-2 years of recent Med/Surg or Telemetry experience
• BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications required
• Ability to work every third weekend and holidays
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in cardiac rhythm interpretation and telemetry monitoring
• Skilled in IV insertion, wound care, and medication administration
• Knowledgeable in patient assessment and critical thinking
• Comfortable with electronic health records and hospital protocols
• Adaptable to fast-paced environments and changing patient needs
