Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate patient care to oncology patients during overnight shifts
• Administer chemotherapy and other oncology medications with precision
• Monitor vital signs and manage symptom relief for patients
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans
• Document patient progress and communicate changes to the care team
• Respond promptly to emergencies and provide critical interventions

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) license in Iowa
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• TNCC certification
• NIHSS certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Oncology nursing fundamentals
• Patient assessment and monitoring
• Medication administration and oncology protocols
• Symptom management and palliative care
• Effective communication with patients and families
