Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor neuro stepdown patients, ensuring timely interventions.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary care plans and facilitate patient education.
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate charting.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and provide critical support.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Louisiana.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in neuro or stepdown units.
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work flexible hours and pick up shifts as needed.

Knowledge & Skills

• Neuro assessment and monitoring.
• Medication administration and IV therapy.
• Care coordination and interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Documentation and charting proficiency.
• Patient safety and infection control.
