Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive labor and delivery nursing care to expectant mothers
• Monitor fetal heart tones and maternal vital signs during labor
• Assist with deliveries and newborn assessments
• Educate patients and families on prenatal and postpartum care
• Collaborate with obstetricians and multidisciplinary team to ensure safe outcomes
• Document patient care accurately and timely

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Louisiana
• L&D experience preferred
• BLS certification
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
