Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive emergency department nursing care to patients of all ages
• Perform rapid assessments using NIHSS to evaluate stroke patients
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
• Document patient care accurately and timely
• Ensure compliance with competency testing and safety standards

Qualifications

• RN license required
• BLS certification
• PALS certification
• ACLS certification
• TNCC certification
• NIHSS certification

• Emergency department nursing
