Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care during cardiac catheterization procedures including diagnostic, PCI, EP, and device implants
• Assist physicians during interventional procedures
• Monitor patient vitals and administer medications
• Prepare and maintain sterile field
• Perform on-call duties for emergency procedures
• Educate patients and families about procedures and post-care

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Nevada verified through Nursys
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS and NRP as applicable
• Cath Lab experience preferred
• Ability to work on-call and adapt to a dynamic environment
• Proof of MMR and Varicella vaccination or declination

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of cardiac anatomy and physiology
• Proficiency in sterile technique and infection control
• Strong critical thinking and assessment skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Excellent communication and patient education skills
