Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate respiratory care to patients in need
• Administer life-saving treatments and manage ventilators
• Collaborate with a dedicated healthcare team to improve patient outcomes
• Monitor and assess respiratory status, adjusting therapies as needed
• Educate patients and families on respiratory conditions and treatments

Qualifications

• Active Respiratory Therapist license in Iowa (or compact state)
• At least 1 year of recent experience as a Respiratory Therapist
• BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association
• Willingness to float to different units as needed
• Passion for making a difference in patients' lives

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of respiratory therapy equipment and procedures
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and adapt to fast-paced environments
• Familiarity with electronic health records and documentation
• Commitment to patient safety and quality care
