Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12 Hour Nights, 36 hours guaranteed, weekends as needed

Hours per Week: 60

Candidate Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Collaborate on patient care plans to make a real difference
Attend weekly clinical staffing to review and refine treatment strategies
Deliver vital medication education to patients and families
Accurately document emotional and mental observations for optimal care
Lead teaching and educational groups on the unit schedule
Train LPNs and MHTs in essential skills like charting and de-escalation
Contribute to PI teams and task forces driving unit improvements
Serve as a positive role model with professionalism and empathy

Qualifications

Oklahoma RN license
At least 2 years of Psych experience required
De-Escalation training preferred
Recent traveler experience preferred
Therapeutic Options certification

Education

RN licensure required

Knowledge & Skills

Psychiatric patient care
De-escalation techniques

Patient observation and documentation
