Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, specialized nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients in the PICU
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, adjusting care plans as needed
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver optimal outcomes
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions with precision
• Support and educate families during their child's critical care journey
• Document patient progress accurately and maintain high standards of care

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Ohio or a compact state
• Current BLS and PALS certifications
• Previous PICU or pediatric critical care experience preferred
• Strong critical thinking and assessment skills
• Ability to work flexible shifts as needed
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach

Knowledge & Skills

• Pediatric critical care nursing principles
• Ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring
• Medication dosing and administration for pediatric patients
• Emergency response and crisis intervention
• Effective communication and family support
• Electronic health record (EHR) documentation
