Registered Nurse - PCU/IMC Float Pool
Location: Centennial, Colorado
Start Date: 07-06-2026
End Date: 10-05-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, schedules released 4-6 weeks in advance
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate care across multiple PCU/IMC specialties including cardiac, neuro, oncology, and trauma
- Titrate and manage cardiac drips, insulin, heparin, and ativan with confidence and precision
- Float throughout Zone 1 facilities to support patients with varying acuity levels and diagnoses
- Collaborate with charge nurses and interdisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional patient outcomes
- Adapt quickly to new units and patient populations while maintaining the highest standards of care
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Colorado or compact state
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of PCU/IMC experience with cardiac drip titration skills
- Comfortable floating across multiple facilities within a 60-mile zone
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong cardiac monitoring and drip management abilities
- Experience with Epic electronic health records preferred
- Neuro, oncology, and post-surgical patient care knowledge
- Excellent adaptability and communication skills for floating assignments
