Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist orthodontist during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
• Take and develop dental x-rays as directed
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment notes

Qualifications

• Active Maryland Dental Assistant certification
• X-ray certification required
• Previous experience in orthodontics preferred but not required
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
• Proficiency with dental software and record-keeping
• Attention to detail and manual dexterity
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
