Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services to residents in a skilled nursing facility
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve daily living skills
• Collaborate with an incredible therapy team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine patient progress
• Educate patients and families on therapeutic activities and home exercise programs

Qualifications

• Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in New Mexico (or compact license eligible)
• Minimum 1-3 years of experience in skilled nursing or similar setting
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be present in the building to receive guaranteed hours

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in functional mobility, activities of daily living, and therapeutic exercises
• Knowledge of SNF regulations and productivity standards (90% productivity required)
• Proficient in documentation and EHR systems
• Strong problem-solving and clinical reasoning abilities
