Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver critical nursing care to newborns in the NICU
• Monitor vital signs and respond to emergencies
• Administer medications and treatments accurately
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop care plans
• Educate families on newborn care and health
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate records

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Virginia
• Experience in neonatal intensive care preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and adapt to changing situations

Knowledge & Skills

• Neonatal pharmacology
• Advanced cardiac monitoring
• Resuscitation techniques
• Family education and support
• Electronic health record proficiency
