Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care to neuro stepdown patients
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders
• Monitor vital signs and neurological status, documenting changes promptly
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
• Educate patients and families about conditions, medications, and discharge planning
• Assist with daily living activities and promote patient independence
• Respond quickly to emergencies and provide life-saving interventions
• Maintain accurate and timely charting in the electronic health record

Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Louisiana
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a neuro or stepdown setting preferred
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Proficiency with electronic health records
• Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities
