Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, family-centered care to NICU infants
• Monitor and care for infants requiring CPAP and ventilation support
• Manage central lines and assist with line placement
• Attend deliveries and assist with newborn stabilization
• Support developmental care and promote parent-infant bonding
• Assist with circumcision and intubation procedures as needed
• Document care accurately in Meditech and CPN systems
• Collaborate with the healthcare team and float to Newborn Nursery as needed

Qualifications

• Active RN license required (temporary licenses not accepted)
• Minimum of 2 years of NICU or hospital specialty experience
• BLS, NRP, and STABLE certifications required
• Experience caring for infants on CPAP or ventilation
• Comfort with central lines and delivery stabilization
• Willingness to serve as Charge RN when needed

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in CPAP and ventilation care for neonates
• Skilled in central line management and care
• Knowledge of developmental care best practices
• Experience with newborn resuscitation and stabilization
• Adept at family-centered care approaches
• Familiarity with Meditech documentation system
