Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to neuro stepdown patients
• Monitor neurological status and vital signs
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team for optimal patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families on care plans

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Louisiana
• BLS certification from AHA
• Minimum 1 year of stepdown/neuro experience preferred
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Neuro assessment skills
• Telemetry monitoring
• IV therapy and medication administration
• Excellent communication and teamwork
