Roles & Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patients on telemetry for cardiac arrhythmias and changes in condition
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals to provide comprehensive care
• Educate patients and families on disease management and discharge planning
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with hospital policies

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Michigan
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
• Minimum 1 year of recent medical-surgical or telemetry nursing experience preferred
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and adapt to a fast-paced environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in telemetry monitoring and rhythm interpretation
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Competency in IV therapy, wound care, and patient education
