Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a medical-surgical telemetry unit
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and telemetry readings for changes
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team for optimal patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families on health management and discharge planning
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold patient safety standards

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Michigan or compact state
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Minimum 1 year of recent MS Tele experience preferred
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and weekends as needed
• Strong assessment and communication skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in medical-surgical nursing and telemetry monitoring
• Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems
• Ability to interpret basic cardiac rhythms and arrhythmias
• Effective teamwork and collaboration in a fast-paced environment
• Compassionate patient-centered care approach
