Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to medical-surgical patients
• Assess patient conditions and monitor vital signs throughout the shift
• Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapy as ordered
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to develop effective care plans
• Educate patients and families on conditions, medications, and aftercare
• Document patient progress accurately and communicate changes promptly

Qualifications

• Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts
• BLS certification required (ACLS preferred)
• Previous Med/Surg nursing experience preferred
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid knowledge of medical-surgical nursing standards and protocols
• Proficiency in IV therapy, wound care, and patient monitoring
• Experience with electronic health records (EHR) documentation
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Compassionate bedside manner and patient advocacy
• Strong prioritization and time-management abilities
