Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, family-centered nursing care to pediatric medical-surgical patients
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments safely and accurately
• Monitor patient vitals and report changes in condition to the care team
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio
• BLS certification required (AHA preferred)
• PALS certification strongly preferred
• Pediatric med/surg nursing experience preferred
• New graduates with a passion for pediatric nursing are encouraged to apply

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong pediatric assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) documentation
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple patients effectively
