Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to pediatric patients in a med/surg setting
• Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and perform treatments as prescribed
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record
• Ensure a safe, healing environment by adhering to infection control and safety protocols

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Ohio
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Pediatric experience preferred, but new grads with strong clinical rotations are welcome
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of pediatric growth and development, and family-centered care principles
