Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, family-centered care to pediatric patients on the medical-surgical unit
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for children with a variety of conditions
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts
• Minimum of 1 year of recent Med/Surg nursing experience, preferably in pediatrics
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association required
• PALS certification preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in pediatric assessment and care
• Proficiency in IV therapy, medication administration, and wound care
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach
