Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care to patients on the Medical/Surgical and Telemetry units
• Monitor patient vital signs and cardiac rhythms
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families on health management and discharge planning
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state of Iowa
• BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications required
• Experience in Medical/Surgical or Telemetry nursing preferred
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in telemetry monitoring and interpretation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of evidence-based practices in med-surg nursing
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
