Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to medical-surgical patients with telemetry monitoring
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments as prescribed
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to alarms, documenting accurately
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families on conditions, procedures, and discharge plans
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment in accordance with hospital standards

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse license in Michigan or multi-state compact license
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Minimum of 1 year recent experience in medical-surgical or telemetry nursing
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Proficiency in telemetry monitoring and rhythm interpretation
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care
