Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM (Day Shift)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and targeted therapy per provider orders
Access and care for port-a-caths, PICC lines, and Hickman catheters
Perform venipuncture, dressing changes, and lab draws from central lines
Monitor patients' responses to treatment and document accurately in Epic EMR
Provide education to patients and families about medications, side effects, and disease process
Ensure safe handling and disposal of hazardous drugs and maintain a safe environment

Qualifications

Active RN license in Hawaii (must be currently active)
Minimum 3 years of recent oncology nursing experience
BLS certification required
Proficiency in Epic EMR and Point Click EMR

Knowledge & Skills

Strong skills in chemotherapy and immunotherapy administration
Competency in accessing and managing central venous access devices
Excellent patient assessment and emergency response abilities
Knowledge of hazardous drug handling and PPE usage
Experience with venipuncture and IV therapy
