Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate and skilled nursing care to patients on the Med Surg/Telemetry unit
• Monitor patient vital signs and telemetry readings, responding to changes promptly
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
• Educate patients and families on health conditions and discharge instructions
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records

Qualifications

• Current California RN license in good standing
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Minimum 1 year of Med Surg/Telemetry experience preferred
• ACLS certification preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in telemetry monitoring and interpretation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple patients
• Knowledge of EHR systems
• Commitment to patient safety and quality care
