Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to patients on various Med Surg units
• Float between units as needed, ensuring continuity of care
• Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and collaborate with healthcare teams
• Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to infection control protocols
• Support patients and families with education and emotional care

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Rhode Island (or compact state license)
• BLS certification required
• Ability to adapt quickly to different unit environments
• Strong clinical and communication skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Med Surg nursing experience preferred
• Float pool or flexible staffing experience a plus
• Proficiency in EKG interpretation and basic life support
• Excellent time management and teamwork abilities
