Location: Skowhegan, ME
Start Date: 09-07-2026
Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM NOC, 30-minute meal break
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $43 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to residents
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, reporting changes promptly
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure quality outcomes
- Document care accurately and in a timely manner
- Maintain a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Maine
- COVID-19 vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption
- Ability to provide a state or federal issued ID and wear a photo badge at all times
- Prior long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred
- Compassionate, reliable, and adaptable
Knowledge & Skills
- Patient assessment and vital sign monitoring
- Medication administration and treatment management
- Care planning and accurate documentation
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Comfortable using electronic health records (EHR)
- Compassionate bedside manner and patient advocacy
