Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform full scope of interventional radiology procedures, including structural (TAVR, Mitra Clip), carotid stenting, peripheral arterial cases, and lumbar punctures
• Apply neuro-interventional expertise to support complex stroke and neuro procedures
• Provide expert nursing care to patients in the holding area, maintaining a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio depending on acuity
• Collaborate with a skilled team of RNs and technologists to deliver safe, high-quality procedural care
• Document accurately in MacLab and Meditech and operate GE imaging equipment
• Participate in the on-call rotation and arrive within 30 minutes when called in

Qualifications

• Current RN license (required)
• Active ACLS and BLS certification
• RCIS or any procedural/cardiology-centered certification
• Vascular IR procedural experience
• Neuro-interventional experience
• Minimum 2 years of interventional radiology experience
• CVT or ARRT certification highly preferred
• High-level communication and teamwork skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Deep knowledge of Cath Lab and IR protocols and procedures
• Proficient with GE Imaging, MacLab, and Meditech systems
• Comfortable working with a 1:4 patient ratio in a high-acuity holding area
• Strong critical thinking and adaptability for emergent situations
• Excellent communication for collaboration with physicians, staff, and patients
