Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: 4x10-hour shifts per week, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM, day shift with call rotation required
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform full scope of interventional radiology procedures, including structural (TAVR, Mitra Clip), carotid stenting, peripheral arterial cases, and lumbar punctures
- Apply neuro-interventional expertise to support complex stroke and neuro procedures
- Provide expert nursing care to patients in the holding area, maintaining a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio depending on acuity
- Collaborate with a skilled team of RNs and technologists to deliver safe, high-quality procedural care
- Document accurately in MacLab and Meditech and operate GE imaging equipment
- Participate in the on-call rotation and arrive within 30 minutes when called in
Qualifications
- Current RN license (required)
- Active ACLS and BLS certification
- RCIS or any procedural/cardiology-centered certification
- Vascular IR procedural experience
- Neuro-interventional experience
- Minimum 2 years of interventional radiology experience
- CVT or ARRT certification highly preferred
- High-level communication and teamwork skills
Knowledge & Skills
- Deep knowledge of Cath Lab and IR protocols and procedures
- Proficient with GE Imaging, MacLab, and Meditech systems
- Comfortable working with a 1:4 patient ratio in a high-acuity holding area
- Strong critical thinking and adaptability for emergent situations
- Excellent communication for collaboration with physicians, staff, and patients
