Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, high-quality nursing care to critically ill ICU patients
• Closely monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and patient status, responding quickly to any changes
• Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to develop and adjust individualized care plans
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and advanced life support interventions per protocol
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes
• Educate and support patients and their families during challenging medical moments

Qualifications

• Current Alabama RN license or valid compact state license
• Recent ICU nursing experience strongly preferred
• BLS and ACLS certifications required (or willingness to obtain)
• Ability to think critically and act quickly in high-pressure situations
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care

Knowledge & Skills

• Advanced knowledge of critical care nursing practices and protocols
• Proficiency in cardiac monitoring, ventilator management, and vasoactive medication titration
• Strong skills in patient assessment and clinical decision-making
• Comfortable using electronic health records (EHR)
• Ability to remain calm, organized, and effective during emergencies
