Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms for patient procedures and ensure all instruments are sterilized and organized
• Assist the pediatric dentist during exams and procedures, providing chairside support
• Capture dental radiographs (X-rays) and prepare them for dentist review
• Provide compassionate, kid-friendly care to help young patients feel comfortable and at ease
• Document patient care and update dental records accurately
• Educate patients and parents on proper oral hygiene techniques and post-treatment care

Qualifications

• Active Dental Assistant certification or registration in the state of Wisconsin (or willingness to obtain)
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Previous experience as a dental assistant, especially in pediatrics, is a plus
• Excellent communication skills and a caring, patient-focused attitude
• Ability to work evening hours on a per diem basis

• Patient communication and rapport-building with children
• Organization, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask
