Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver gentle and thorough dental cleanings, assessing oral health for signs of disease
• Educate patients on personalized oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
• Take and develop dental X-rays to support accurate diagnoses and treatment plans
• Collaborate with the dentist to provide optimal patient care and treatment support
• Document patient care and treatment plans with precision and empathy
• Sterilize instruments and maintain a clean, safe clinical environment

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Wisconsin (or compact eligibility)
• Current CPR certification and (ideally) local anesthesia certification
• A warm, patient-centered approach and excellent communication skills
• Clinical experience in dental hygiene (new grads welcome to apply!)
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to infection control

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and radiography techniques
• Skilled in patient education and motivational interviewing
• Proficient in dental software and charting systems
• Excellent interpersonal skills to make patients feel at ease
• Ability to adapt to varying patient needs and a fast-paced practice
