Location: Kearney, Nebraska

Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM and 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-acuity care to adult ICU patients with trauma, cardiac, stroke, and respiratory conditions
- Titrate cardiac drips, insulin, and sedation medications to maintain patient stability
- Interpret telemetry strips and document findings to support timely clinical decisions
- Collaborate with nurse aides and healthcare support techs to deliver safe, attentive care
- Float to PCU or MedSurg units when needed while maintaining appropriate patient ratios
- Respond promptly to on-call situations, arriving within 30 minutes when called back
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Minimum one year of recent ICU experience preferred
- Strong telemetry interpretation and drip titration skills
- Valid driver's license for radius verification at submission
