Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-acuity nursing care to ICU patients
• Monitor vital signs, interpret telemetry, and respond to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and life-support treatments
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and adjust care plans
• Educate patients and families about treatments and recovery
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with safety protocols

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Illinois (or compact license eligible)
• At least 1 year of recent ICU experience preferred
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• TNCC and NIHSS certifications required
• Willingness to work every weekend shift

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
• Proficiency in ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-stress environment
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
