Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality care to critically ill patients in the ICU
• Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and manage life-support equipment
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to create and adjust care plans
• Educate and support patients and their families during challenging times
• Respond quickly to changes in patient condition and initiate emergency interventions as needed

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Iowa (or compact state)
• Current BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications
• Minimum 1 year of recent ICU experience preferred
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and every third weekend

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong critical thinking and rapid decision-making skills
• Proficiency in cardiac monitoring, ventilator management, and IV therapy
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Compassionate patient and family-centered approach
