Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to emergency department patients
• Assess, triage, and prioritize patients based on acuity and urgency
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as ordered
• Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to develop care plans
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately
• Educate patients and families on health conditions and discharge instructions

Qualifications

• Current California Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• At least 1 year of experience in an emergency department or acute care setting
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification preferred
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification a plus
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-stress environment

Knowledge & Skills

• In-depth knowledge of emergency nursing protocols and best practices
• Skilled in IV insertion, phlebotomy, and wound care
• Strong critical thinking and rapid decision-making abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient with electronic health records (EHR) systems
