Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional dental hygiene care, including cleanings, exams, and preventive treatments
• Educate patients on oral health best practices and personalized care plans
• Take and develop dental X-rays to ensure accurate diagnostic images
• Assist the dentist during procedures while maintaining a sterile and efficient environment
• Maintain detailed patient records and follow strict infection control standards
• Create a comfortable, welcoming experience for every patient

Qualifications

• Active Virginia Dental Hygienist license
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Experience in clinical dental hygiene, ideally in a fast-paced practice
• Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental hygiene procedures, instruments, and sterilization techniques
• Proficiency with digital X-ray systems and dental practice management software
• Understanding of infection control protocols and OSHA standards
• Excellent interpersonal skills for patient education and team collaboration
